This sunrise for you B and for us :o) with all my love

That's the valley from the garden, peeping through the trees, at sunrise too.

other sunrises :o)

should have read "mid-way" - the hill goes higher behind the forest, one cannot see it from here - and the other way is once again the same distance down to the village. It was not a sunny day :o)

The Forest or what remains of it since hurricane Lothar - the first trees you see were in the middle of the forest - now it is all empty up to the road where I was standing

taken today - as you can see we are on a hill. what you
see of trees on the left was part of a whole forest - behind them it was full
of other trees and this forest track was in the middle of huge trees
... four years after hurricane Lothar still no tree - the white posts you
can see are newly planted trees, but it will take at least 50 and even 100
years to give back the majestic trees that were here

OK OK I slightly saturated the colours :o)

Mom waiting for me as I was taking pictures all along the way :o)

Welcome to DirtyHorseFarm!

This is the next village after ours. What you can see in the valley is the Aar river (remember the other pictures with it?) and parts of the suburbs of Bern City (more to the left the city itself)

(OK OK I slightly slightly saturated the colours :o)
